succumbed to his injuries. His death has shocked his colleagues and railway authorities. The incident occurred during repair work at Rakha Mines, where a line block was in place. Mahta was reportedly working at a height without safety equipment. His body was sent for postmortem 18 hours after his death as the GRP and Parsudih police refused to investigate, claiming the incident occurred outside their jurisdiction. The Jadugoda police initiated an investigation on Thursday afternoon, registering a case under the U.D. section. Mahta was due to retire in two months, as he had turned 59. His untimely death has left his family and colleagues in grief, but the railway regulations provide for employment opportunities for his dependents.

Dhalbhumgarh TRD department ke railway karmachari Ravi Mahta (59) ki duty ke doran line par girne se maut ho gayi. Idhar, Ravi ka shav maut ke 18 ghante baad railway hospital se postmortem mein bheja gaya, kyonki GRP aur Parsudih police ne ghatnasthal ko kaaryakshetra se bahar batakar karrawai nahi ki. Guruvaar dopahar Jadugoda police ke aane par karrawai shuru hui. Jadugoda police ne railkarmi ki maut ka maamla U.D. ke tahat darj kiya hai. Police ke anusar, railkarmi ke maut maamle mein parijanon ka bayan darj ho gaya hai. Lekin Rakha Mines duty sthala par maujud rail adhikariyon aur karmachariyon se bhi poochhtaach ki jaegi. Waheen, safety praavdhan ke ullanghaan ke karanon par bhi jaanch hogi. Railkarmiyon ke anusar, Ravi Mahta do mahine baad retire hone wala tha, kyonki uski umr 59 varsh se zyada ho gayi thi. Isse vibhagik niyam se do mahine baad retirement ka samay tha. Uski maut se parijanon ke saath sahkarmion mein shok hai. Lekin achanak maut se uske aashrit ko railway mein naukri dene ka praavdhan hai.
