The Purushottam Express and Utkal Express, originating from Delhi and Rishikesh, have been arriving in the morning instead of the night for the past two days. The Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express was delayed by 14 hours. According to the railway schedule, the Rajdhani Express was supposed to depart from Prayagraj station on time, while the Rishikesh Puri Utkal Express hadn't reached Raipur in Chhattisgarh. The Anand Vihar Puri Neelachal Express arrived eight hours late, the Jammu Tawi Express five hours late, and the Anand Vihar Bhubaneswar Sampark Kranti Express six hours late. Duronto, Gitajjali, Kurla, and other trains on the Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad routes consistently arrive at Tatanagar four to five hours late. Due to these delays, hundreds of passengers who have booked tickets in advance for Howrah, Puri, Bhubaneswar, and other stations are forced to wait at the platform for their trains. The railway is adjusting departure times of trains from Howrah, Puri, and other stations due to delays and coach shortages. Passengers are canceling tickets and requesting alternate train arrangements from station masters, as the late arrival at their destination disrupts their pre-planned schedules.
