beech ek intercity express chalu karne ka bhi proposal rakha hai, jo Tiruchi se subah 6 baje chale aur dopahar 12 baje Chennai Egmore pahuche. MP ne Manamadurai aur Chennai aur Pudukottai aur Chennai ke beech daily train service ki maang bhi ki hai. Iske saath hi unhone Thiruvappur aur Karuveppalan mein overbridge ya subway banane aur Thanjavur aur Pudukottai ke beech ek new railway line banane ka bhi maang kiya hai.
