File an RTI as detailed below for this train-
It is in common public that as per Indian Railway rules, a train having an average speed of 55 kmph or above (excluding halt time) will be considered as a superfast train. Here I am presenting some data about 12619/20 Matasyaganhdha Express-
For...
more... 12619- As per NTES, it covers 895 kms. in 18 hours 50 minutes, in which it take total halt time of 53 minutes at its stoppage, that makes its total running time 17 hours 57 minutes. With this data, average speed (excluding its halt time), if calculated, comes to 49.86 kmph or say 50 kmph.
For 12620- As per NTES, it covers 895 kms. in 17 hours 55 minutes, in which it take total halt time of 50 minutes at its stoppage, that makes its total running time 17 hours 05 minutes. With this data, average speed (excluding its halt time), if calculated, comes to 52.39 kmph or say 52 kmph.
From the above both calculations, it is crystal clear that 12619/20 do not cross average speed of 55kmph (excluding halt time) on any sides of its run.
In this regard, I request you to quote the Act/Rules/Regulation/Reason that why 12619/20, despite not crossing benchmark as prescribed for superfast trains, is being run as Superfast.
Thanks and regards.
