Guys, just wanted to share something. Not quite related to IR. However it's important.
Just moved to Pune a few weeks ago for employment. Got the cheapest flat I could find because I wanted to save as much as I can considering the current hardships.
So...
more... the flat is 7 km away from my office but the public transport situation is very bad in Pune.
One of my ofiicers told me that Bajaj was very influential in earlier days of Pune and he was the reason the Public transport never improved here when everywhere else it was improving. The company didn't want it to improve so that it can sell more 2 wheelers. The worst part is that it was able to do that with so much ease. That is why Punekars are suffering. Every big city should have a very efficient public transport system so that it can run smoothly but greed of a corporate entity causes so many to suffer
So when people say it's okay that railways is getting privatized, it's not. Private companies doesn't care for anyone, only for their profit.
#IndianRailways#PrivatizationCan you assure that companies do not keep public welfare at the last of their priorities list?
We are entering the purest form of Capitalism and I wish us best of luck going forward.
