Asansol-Gonda Exp is the extension of ASN-GKP Exp!!
Same Rake with same Slot!!
Now, if train can run from GKP-ASN, the same Rake can be used from ASN towards anywhere!!
IR plan this way, as about Rake utilization!!

The slot is common between CPR-ASN only.
I guess they are providing a dedicated service to:
AYODHYA-BUI sector working in ASN industrial belt,
A train to ASN for Ayodhya,
A train to BUI-Ayodhya section for...

The slot is common to most stretch!!
It cant b common after CPR, as both divert to diff route!!
Yes, Ayodhya connectivity, but the diversion past Shahganj simply suggests connectivity option @ Azamgarh (as GD, Mankapur, Ayodhya, Shahganj, Mau, Ballia all have direct train to ASN)

What I feel the main purpose of this train to connect Ayodhya to Kiul - Jasidih section. As there is no direct train from Ayodhya (Faizabad) towards Jasidih. Just because of pilgrimage importance of both places - connect Ayodhya to Baijnath Dham.
Otherwise there is no importance of this train as Ayondhya aready have 2 daily trains connecting Asansol (13010 Doon Express and 13152 Jammutawi Express) both runs on Grand Chord line.
